Hello Overlanders and Off-roaders! This is our product highlight of the Antigravity Lithium Battery upgrade for the 3rd Gen Tacoma. Perfect power for off-grid! Come with us and learn some things about Antigravity and what the benefits are on going Lithium over stock batteries. One thing you don’t see in this video is how corroded the original stock battery was on this Tacoma. The stock battery finally stopped keeping a charge toward the end of 2022 - Actually not too bad squeezing 5 years of service out of a stock battery. After trying to extend it’s life with Noco battery boost, jumping it over and over it finally died. At the over-extended end, the poor thing could not even crank-over, wound up smoking and melting the cables! At this point our Antigravity Lithium Battery was still on order and waiting to arrive a month out. We got a temp battery from Napa Auto and used it in the meantime. Nothing too exciting, just a standard Tacoma group 24f Battery, heavy, cumbersome…nothing to look at there. Plain old aftermarket battery, expecting ok service for 2 years or so. At this point we pick up with Tony from AdventurePowerSolutions when he comes over to deliver us the ultimate battery…We are finally upgrading to the Antigravity Lithium Battery. We follow through on a full installation and cleanup the engine battery area with some clean upgrades including the Agency6 Battery Hold Down and the 75Built Terminal Protector Kit. Check it out!
